A Very Groovy Award

Sunday, September 21, 2008.

A huge thanks to Lizzie Millar of Shelf Elf for bestowing upon us this nice little award. (We’re always surprised to be reminded that our collection of show notes does amount to a blog).

Thank you, Lizzie!

The honour does come with a few responsibilities (we’ve got honour and responsibility — It’s a very groovy award). Here are the rules:

  • Add the logo of the award to your blog
  • Add a link to the person who awarded it to you
  • Nominate at least 7 other blogs
  • Add links to those blogs on your blog
  • Leave a message for your nominees on their blogs

Seven, of course, is way too few so let’s just go with the following fabs:

Thanks to these seven and the many others that bring children and reading together each day.

Thanks so much, Andrea! You’re the best! And certainly deserving of the award yourself.

WOOT! Thanks! If I don’t get to these instructions this week, please don’t interpret it as ingratitude. It’s just that a) I’m already swamped and the week has barely begun and b) I have an awful track record of remembering to do these things. But I hope to change those habits with this one. What a nice thing to read, especially coming from you all. Thanks very, very much!

I will be passing this along shortly- when I post this week;s show!

Thanks again- and the feeling is mutual, although I think it’s cheating to nominate you back, right?
