2008 Cybils Short Lists Revealed Today

And now, what we’ve all been waiting for…

After weeks of reading and debate, the hardworking first round Cybils judges have whittled hundreds of great 2008 children’s books down to short lists of the most child-friendly, innovative and well executed in eight of the nine categories as part of the third annual Cybils Children’s and Young Adult Bloggers’ Literary Awards.

If you’re looking for bang for your book-buying buck, this is a great place to look for titles:
