Interview with Gregory Walters

Every now and then we’re contacted by an author or illustrator that’s passing through town and would like to meet us where the Just One More Book!! action really happens — our favourite coffee shop.
On this edition, we’re joined by Gregory Walters, a teacher turned lawyer turned teacher (again) turned principal who was in the Ottawa area for a summer holiday from his home in Halfmoon Bay, British Columbia.
In addition to his administrative duties, Mr. Walters is a reading teacher and children’s books are more than just a passing interest for him. His office is filled with children’s books and has become something of a hangout for students looking for something good to read. This past spring, Gregory Walters published his first book, Fouling Out, which follows the evolution of a friendship between two pre-teens. It’s a book for 10-14 year olds.
