We’ll be back

Sunday, September 3, 2006.

Because our audio production suite was stolen, I had to use our voice mail feature to record this quick announcement that we will resume publishing Just One More Book as soon as we replace our equipment. We also lost four episodes of this Podcast that were on the laptop.

This is a great time to remind you that you can still send us reviews of your favourite children’s book. Call our audio feedback line (206-350-6487), leave us a message using MyChingo, or email an mp3 recording or typed review to our email address, JustOneMoreBook (at) gmail (dot) com.

Thanks for your patience!

We Interrupt this Program

Saturday, September 2, 2006.

Unfortunately, we were the target of a robbery today and, as a result, we will be unable to produce Just One More Book until we can replace our stolen equipment. Everyone is okay.

Please do keep an ear out for us, as we hope to be rolling again as soon as possible.

Thanks for listening,
Andrea & Mark

Feedback from E. B. McHenry

Saturday, September 2, 2006.

Wow! We received an email yesterday, out of the blue, from E. B. McHenry, author and illustrator of Poodlena. She stumbled on our review A Lesson for me: Poodlena and sent the following to us:

Hello Just One More Book!

I love your podshow! What a great idea. I particularly enjoyed your review of Poodlena. I am E.B. McHenry and I want to say Thank You for such a thoughtful review. The book Poodlena does play with and is a response to all the extreme girly girl images.

And your daughter was absolutely right, Poodlena isn’t doing the primping her master is a whole other sub text! Thank you for choosing Poodlena for review, I wish all of Poodlena’s reviews were so insightful!

Have you been to Poodlena.com ? Do see the fabulous Poodlena Poodle Parade through Berkeley, CA and meet me, E.B.!

Again many thanks,
E.B. McHenry

E. B. McHenry has agreed to an interview. We will let you know when that comes about.
