This page-turning adventure packs a whollup of a lesson: what we fear most is the truth about ourselves. Luckily, as Mark points out, it also helps us discover the magic of facing that truth.

This cleverly crafted fantasy is full of magic, silliness, suspense and adventure and is an absolute hit with the little ones.

Vivian,

Thanks for checking in on us. Our iTunes posting mechanism has been broken since a recent powerPress upgrade so we were wondering if anyone would even notice our post-upgrade posts.

We’re really enjoying doing this podcast, as you might have guessed. In fact, we don’t have our morning coffee ritual on the weekends so with so many awesome books to talk about, I am actually finding myself looking forward to Monday mornings!

Thanks again for listening and for your feedback.

Andrea
ps. We record 5 days a week and only publish 2 or 3 so your backlog is not as bad as it could be!

Hi Andrea,
What an awesome message to share with listeners…that you talk about books everyday. It’s like we are all having coffee with you! Now that the cat is out of the bag…other JOMB fans…we want more…we want more…

I’m getting caught up! Thanks for the CLIP mention! :-)

hugs

Vivian,

Our 30 minutes at a neighbourhood coffeeshop each morning before work is the only thing that keeps us half-sane some days!

Now 10 of those minutes we get to spend with our favourite books — and you…. ;o)

Thanks for the great feedback!
Andrea

Wow! This was such a great story. My son and I just finished reading it this weekend. He loved it so much it’s all he can talk about. Not only is the story very engaging, I was as interested in it as my son was, the illustration are wonderful and really help to emphasize the plot. It’s hard to believe Fodi both wrote and illustrated this book! We will definitely be waiting for the sequel. Thanks Andrea and Mark!

Lee is an incredibly talented children’s book author and illustrator and his amazing book, Kendra Kandlestar and the Box of Whispers, is one of my top ten favourite books.  I highly recommend that you pick up a copy and read it.  It makes a great gift from the tooth fairy!
